Create Quiz Show in Power Point | Step by Step process

To create a quiz test in Microsoft PowerPoint with two questions, follow these step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Open Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Launch Microsoft PowerPoint on your computer.

Step 2: Set the Design Theme

  • Go to the Design tab.
  • Click on Variants and select the Black color theme for a sleek and professional look.

Step 3: Set Up the First Slide

  • Title Slide: This will be your quiz’s introduction slide.
  • Title: Type “Welcome to the Quiz” or a similar title.
  • Instructions: Add a brief instruction, like “Click START to begin the quiz.”
  • START Button:
    • Insert a button (or shape) labeled “START.”
    • Select the button, go to the Insert tab, click Action, then select Hyperlink to > Slide. Choose Slide 4 (which will be the first question slide) and click OK.
  • Quit Button:
    • Insert a button labeled “Quit.”
    • Select the button, go to the Insert tab, click Action, and select End Show to close the quiz when clicked.

Step 4: Create All Slides

  • Slide 2: This will be a “Correct Answer” slide.
  • Title it “Correct!” or something similar.
  • Add a button labeled “Continue.”
  • Select the button, go to Insert > Action > Hyperlink to > Slide. Choose Slide 5 (which will be the second question slide) and click OK.
  • Add another button labeled “Exit” and set its action to End Show.
  • Slide 3: This will be an “Incorrect Answer” slide.
  • Title it “Incorrect” or “Try Again.”
  • Add a button labeled “Exit.”
  • Select the button, go to Insert > Action > End Show.

Step 5: Add Questions and Answers

  • Slide 4: This will be the first question slide.
  • Question 1: Type your first question.
  • Option A: Type one possible answer and link it to Slide 2 (the correct answer slide) using Insert > Action > Hyperlink to > Slide 2.
  • Option B: Type another possible answer and link it to Slide 3 (the incorrect answer slide) using the same steps.
  • Slide 5: This will be the second question slide.
  • Question 2: Type your second question.
  • Option A: Type one possible answer and link it to Slide 3 (if incorrect) using Insert > Action > Hyperlink to > Slide 3.
  • Option B: Type another possible answer and link it to Slide 2 (if correct) using the same steps.

Step 6: Finalize the Quiz

  • Go back through the slides to ensure that all buttons are linked correctly.
  • Test the quiz by starting the slideshow and clicking through the questions to verify that the links work as expected.
