Job Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for data entry and record maintenance tasks under the Mid-Day Meal Programme. They will work closely with the administrative staff to ensure the smooth execution of the programme.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate from a recognized University.
- Technical Skills:
- Certificate in Computer Application.
- Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.
- Proficiency in Windows 7/8/10, MS-Office, and basic technical know-how.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 40 years (as on 01/01/2024)
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in data entry or relevant fields will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision and deliver high-quality work.

The application must be submitted directly by hand or sent through post to the Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Kalimpong. The deadline for submission is 30/09/2024, till 5:00 PM.
Documents to be Attached:
- Proof of Citizenship: Voter ID Card or AADHAAR Card.
- Age Proof: Birth Certificate or School Admit Card.
- Residential Proof: AADHAAR Card or Voter Card, or a Certificate from the concerned Municipal authority/BDO.
- Educational Qualification: Certificates and mark sheets starting from Standard X onwards.
- Three recent passport-sized photographs (one to be affixed on the application form).
- Caste Certificate (if applicable).
- Experience Certificate (if any).
- One self-addressed envelope with requisite postal stamps.
All documents should be self-attested by the candidate before submission.
Selection Process
The selection process will involve the following stages:
- Written Examination:
- Total Marks: 50
- Subjects: English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
- Computer Proficiency Test:
- Total Marks: 30
- Viva-Voce:
- Total Marks: 20
Candidates securing the highest total marks in the selection process will be considered for the final appointment. If a large number of applications are received, only shortlisted candidates will be called for further rounds based on academic merit.
